DATES September 11 & 12, 2010 HOURS Doors will open at 10:00 a.m. each day, with music playing from 10:45 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. There will be four main stage performances each day, each lasting 60-75 minutes. During the 35 minute intermissions, stop by the Wine Garden Stage, where we will feature additional artists. Performance times will be released one week before the show. THE TOWN OF GUERNEVILLE Guerneville is located in the heart of Sonoma County’s beautiful redwood country. We invite you to extend your festival weekend to include the endless variety of resorts, campgrounds, wineries, shops, galleries, restaurants, and recreational possibilities that abound in this spectacular North Coast setting. Visit the Russian River Chamber of Commerce for all the details on the local area. If you are seeking accommodations, Russian River Getaways offers a wide range of vacation homes to suit your taste & budget. THE VENUE – JOHNSON’S BEACH Johnson's Beach & Resort is located on the Russian River, approximately 75 miles north of the Bay Area. The resort is just one block from Main Street, with lots of shopping and restaurants. A few miles away are hiking trails amongst the redwoods, and there are 100+ wineries within 5 miles of town. The Pacific Ocean is 14 miles to the west. CLICK HERE for the website. DIRECTIONS CLICK HERE for a Yahoo map. From the Bay Area, take Highway 101 and head north. Travel through Santa Rosa, which is 50 miles north of San Francisco. A few miles north of Santa Rosa is the Guerneville/River Road/Russian River Resort Area Exit. Turn left on to River Road and you will reach Guerneville in 15 miles. Go through the two stoplights in the beginning of town. If you turn left on Church Street, you would be heading in the direction of the festival entrance. We warn you, however, that there will not be any parking available on Church or First Street, so please find a place to park in town. PARKING There is no parking at Johnson’s Beach during the festival, so we have found that many folks park throughout Guerneville - please adhere to all local signs. Additional parking is also available at the nearby Korbel Winery, but there will not be shuttle service this year, so make plans accordingly.
